• 50Wh Rechargeable Battery: The Steam Deck OLED features a built-in 50Wh lithium-ion battery. Valve quotes approximately 3–12 hours of gameplay when new, depending on the title and settings. Actual battery performance on a Certified Refurbished unit will depend on its individual condition and usage.

Compatibility & Important Information

Steam and PC Game Compatibility: Steam Deck runs SteamOS, a Linux-based operating system developed by Valve for handheld PC gaming. Many Windows PC games run through Valve's Proton compatibility technology, although not every game is supported. Some games may have restrictions involving anti-cheat systems, external launchers or other software requirements. Check the Steam Deck Verified or Playable rating of individual titles before purchasing.

Steam Account and Internet Requirements: A Steam account and internet connection are required for initial setup, downloading games and installing software updates. Many installed games support offline play, although individual titles may require an active connection, additional accounts or periodic online authentication.

Digital Games: Steam Deck is primarily designed for digitally downloaded PC games. It does not include an optical disc drive or game cartridge slot. Purchased games, paid digital licences and subscriptions must be obtained separately.

1TB Storage Capacity: The integrated 1TB NVMe SSD provides substantial storage space for compatible digital games, applications and system files. Actual usable capacity is lower because of formatting and operating system requirements. Additional storage can be added using compatible microSD cards, sold separately.

Battery and Charging: The console contains a built-in rechargeable 50Wh lithium-ion battery and supports USB-C Power Delivery charging. A refurbished UK three-pin USB-C power supply is included with the photographed package. Valve specifies 45W USB-C Power Delivery for this model. Battery runtime varies according to individual games, system settings and battery condition.

Premium OLED Display: This 1TB edition includes a 7.4-inch HDR OLED touchscreen with a native resolution of 1280 x 800, refresh rates up to 90Hz and premium anti-glare etched glass. The display is a distinguishing feature of the standard 1TB OLED model.

External Displays: Steam Deck supports connection to compatible televisions and monitors through an appropriate USB-C adapter or docking station. A docking station and external video cables are sold separately.

Controllers and Accessories: The built-in controls support a wide range of compatible PC games. Additional Bluetooth and wired controllers, keyboards, mice and headsets can be connected where supported. Compatibility and functionality depend on the individual peripheral and game.

UK Version: This product is supplied as a UK-market console and includes a UK three-pin charging adapter. SteamOS supports English-language operation. Availability of digital games, online services and wireless features may vary by region.

Additional Information: Game performance, software compatibility and battery life depend on individual games, settings and operating conditions. Steam Deck is a handheld PC gaming system and cannot directly play physical PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo discs or cartridges.
