Compatibility & Important Information
Japanese Edition (JP): This is a genuine Nintendo Switch OLED console originally intended for the Japanese market. It features Japanese retail packaging, but the console supports English system menus and is compatible with UK Nintendo Switch game cartridges. Game-specific regional restrictions, downloadable content and online services may vary.
Power Adapter: The included Japanese Nintendo Switch AC adapter uses a two-pin Type-A plug rather than a UK three-pin plug. The adapter supports 100-240V input, including UK mains voltage, but cannot be plugged directly into a standard UK wall socket. A compatible official UK Nintendo Switch AC adapter can be used and is sold separately.
Games: No games are included with this console. Compatible Nintendo Switch game cards and digital downloads are supported. Games exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 cannot be played on this system.
Display: The built-in OLED screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p). TV output supports up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) through the included dock. This console does not support 4K output.
Games, additional controllers, microSD cards and any UK-compatible replacement power adapter are sold separately unless otherwise stated.
