This is a GameCube-style controller designed for Nintendo Switch, not an original Nintendo GameCube controller. It connects through USB rather than the traditional GameCube controller port and does not require a separate GameCube controller adapter.

The controller does not support wireless connectivity, vibration, HD Rumble, motion controls or NFC/amiibo scanning. It also does not have a built-in headset socket. Games that require these features or Joy-Con-specific controls may not be fully compatible.

For Nintendo Switch 2, compatibility may depend on the controller's firmware and regional model. Compatibility of the NSW-107U version has not been independently confirmed, so Nintendo Switch 2 support is not guaranteed.
