• Player and Manager Career modes – Build a career on or off the pitch, developing your own player or managing a club through transfers, tactics, objectives and multiple seasons.
• Women's club football – Play with women's club teams from competitions including the Barclays Women's Super League and Division 1 Féminine, with dedicated motion capture supporting their on-pitch animations.
• Power Shots and redesigned set pieces – Use the skill-based Power Shot mechanic for high-powered attempts at goal and take greater control over free kicks, penalties and corners with revised set-piece systems.
• Authentic football experience – Choose from hundreds of licensed clubs across major competitions and leagues, with real players, stadiums and broadcast-style presentation bringing matchdays to life.

Important: Online services for FIFA 23 were discontinued on 30 October 2025. Online multiplayer, FIFA Ultimate Team and other features requiring EA's online servers are no longer available. Supported offline game modes can still be played.
