Compatibility & Important Information

THE400 Mini connects to a television or monitor with an HDMI input and support for 720p resolution. It is a self-contained retro gaming system and does not require an original Atari 400 computer to operate.

Please note: A USB mains power adapter is not included. A suitable standard USB-A power adapter providing a fixed 5V and at least 1A is required. USB-C fast chargers that rely on power negotiation may not work with this console.

The miniature keyboard on the console is decorative and does not function as a physical keyboard. An on-screen virtual keyboard is provided, and a compatible external USB keyboard can also be connected.

Additional compatible Atari games can be loaded from a USB memory stick, which is not included. Compatibility may vary depending on the game and file format. The console does not accept original Atari game cartridges, cassette tapes or floppy disks directly.

One wired THECXSTICK joystick is included. Additional compatible USB controllers are required for multiplayer games that support more than one player.

This is an officially licensed modern recreation of the Atari 400, not an original Atari computer or an Atari 2600 console. Television, USB power adapter, additional controllers and USB memory stick are sold separately.
